Integration with CCTV Systems

Protect Your Current Investment and
Get All the Benefits of IP-Surveillance
With an understanding that companies and government agencies have spent millions of dollars on video systems in the past, a major focus of the DETEXI suite is to allow the use of this legacy equipment in the network and thereby reduce the initial impact on budgets while increasing the useful life span of existing infrastructure.

Instead of starting from scratch, it is possible to combine your analog CCTV system with a network video system, thereby acquiring all the functionality and benefits that digital technology offers: superior image quality, remote accessibility, cost-effectiveness, flexibility, scalability, integration and future-proof functionality.

Start with an affordable Network Video Recording (NVR) solution that keeps your current multiplexer/VCR & cameras. Gain the benefits of digital video while keeping your trusted tape system. Take full control of your multiplexer over the Internet/LAN/WAN - through a secure connection.

Maximize your initial investment - all system components and software are used in future expansion. If no camera system exists - rely on us to design, install, certify and support a complete and effective solution.

Fast and Easy Deployment of a Cost-efficient Infrastructure

The majority of businesses now have high-speed, IP-based networks connected to the Internet. Adding a network video system simply utilizes and extends the same infrastructure to include video functionality.

The only action required is to set the IP addresses of the network video products. Once the basic system is up and running, it can be fine-tuned in a number of ways: by adding other functions such as motion detection, alarm handling, time stamping, local programmability, and Pan-Tilt-Zoom control.

How to Build an IP-Surveillance Solution Combining the Benefits of Analogue and Digital Systems:

In the transition from analog to digital surveillance systems, no system is too small or too tightly tied to analog technology to benefit from digital technology. Even a single analog camera connected to a video server will provide the user with the full range of advantages that come from digital, networked surveillance.

- Connecting Network Video Server to existing analog cameras digitize the images and feed them to the IP network. The main benefit from connecting those analog cameras to a network is that you can now see surveillance images from any computer on the network.

- Add additional network cameras to your system (if you have the need) as well as a PC Server with DETEXI IP-Surveillance software. Video can now be recorded on a standard PC, which means you can select performance as well as the amount of video to be recorded using standard IT components.

- Analog and network cameras can now be accessed remotely from anywhere over the network or the Internet. PCs with a DETEXI client can retrieve surveillance images from all the cameras in the system. The video storage system can either be the hard disks connected to a PC or a dedicated storage server on the network.

- By using an Authentication Server you can manage password-protected access to images from the surveillance system. Similar to secure payment over the Internet, a user's images and information are kept secure and viewed only by approved personal.
